Season in Review
The women’s basketball team, which fielded one of its youngest teams in years with seven freshmen and three sophomores on the roster, opened the season 4-3, but dropped 14 of its last 17 games and finished under .500 for the seventh consecutive season. Sophomore Katie Pogge led the Cardinals in scoring (12.7 ppg) and was third in rebounding (7.0 rpg). Pogge made the ECAC Southern Region Honor Roll twice and was named All-Tournament at the Gettysburg Days Inn Tournament. Freshman Becky Mintzer averaged 11.4 ppg and hit a team-high 36 three-pointers.
