Former Cardinal Doug Rowe Named Men's Tennis Coach At Hamilton College
CLINTON, N.Y. (August 23, 2005)--Former CUA tennis player Doug Rowe has been hired as the new Hamilton College men's tennis coach.
Rowe, a four-year letterwinner at CUA from 1998-2001, earned team MVP honors his freshman year and named to the Capital Athletic Conference's All-Academic team four times. Rowe received two degrees from CUA: a bachelor's and master's in English Literature in 2000 and 2002, respectively.
Prior to his hiring at Hamilton, Rowe served as a men's tennis assistant coach at Catholic in 2001 and played on the USTA Connecticut men's league state champion Stratford Stingers.
Captial Athletic Conference Press Release CAC Recognizes Kelly as Top Performer for Men’s Tennis
BALTIMORE (March 8, 2005) -- Senior Andrew Kelly (Hillsborough, N.J.) of Catholic University has been named Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the sport of men’s tennis for his performance during the week ending March 6.
The Cardinals went 5-0 in matches played last week in Hilton Head, S.C., with Kelly winning five times in singles play at No. 3. He also fashioned a 4-0 record in doubles play, competing at No. 3.
